PEP&CO chooses Redditch to launch one of its first new stores

PEP&CO, the UK's new town centre family fashion name, has chosen Kingfisher Shopping Centre as one of the first places it will open a store. The addition of PEP&CO to the centre's line-up demonstrates retailers' confidence in the 920,000 sq ft scheme which sits at the heart of Redditch.

PEP&CO, which is rolling out a country-wide expansion programme, will take 3,600 sq ft in the centre and will offer fashion and home ranges. The brand has been established by former Asda CEO Andy Bond and will complement the centre's existing retailers which include Marks & Spencer, Primark and Debenhams.

The arrival of PEP&CO is the latest name to commit to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre. Ed's Easy Diner recently agreed to take space, reinforcing the centre's catering offer and H&M has also announced plans to upsize to a 23,000 sq ft store which will allow it to capitalise on the strong customer base. The activity comes as a result of Capital & Regional's ongoing multi-million pound investment into the centre. Since Kingfisher Shopping Centre was purchased, a new catering and leisure hub has been established, a modern fashion walk created and the centre's central square has been refreshed, providing a better shopping experience for retailers and customers.
