Planning approved for Kingfisher Centre

The Kingfisher Shopping Centre has now been granted planning approval for a restaurant and leisure development space accommodating four new restaurants and a gym.

The Centre was granted planning approval at the Redditch Borough Council planning committee meeting on Wednesday 3rd April and the approval is to change what was the old T J Hughes unit from retail space to restaurant and leisure usage.

The development will mean investment into alerting the internal building to accommodate this space and brand new shop fits, it  will also hopefully create 50 plus jobs in the local town Centre.

Ken Williams the General Manager commented: "This approval now clears the way for us to progress matters and get things moving in terms of the lettings to fill this new space!"
