Snozone are three-time award winners!

Snozone are delighted to have been announced winners at the UK School Travel Awards, in the category of “Best Sporting Venue” for children learning outside the classroom.  

Snozone are now three-time winners and six-time finalists at this prestigious event, underlining their strong history of supporting the national curriculum by providing a number of activities and educational courses designed to enable students to develop confidence, resilience, leadership and team work as well as of course, snow sports skills.


Other 2022 nominees in the same category included renowned venues such as; The London Stadium, Manchester United Museum & Stadium Tour, Silverstone Northamptonshire, Twickenham Stadium and the UK Sailing Academy, Isle of Wight.

Snozone’s Managing Director Nick Phillips said:

“We are so proud to receive this award for the third time, especially in the company of such renowned businesses and organisations.  We would like to thank all the teachers who voted for us as this affirms our commitment to supporting schools in their delivery of exceptional experiences outside the classroom.”

In addition to skiing and snowboarding school lessons, Snozone also provide accredited assessment for the Snowsports components of GCSE, A Level and BTEC PE & Sport and deliver Business Studies talks to students about how Snozone operates as a commercial operation. Snozone are also an accredited centre for the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze Award.

Snozone also run their own School holiday camps and aside from sporting activity on the slopes, support ‘good citizenship’ modules with first aid courses for children ‘mini medics’, sign language lessons and conversational French or Spanish lessons.

These subjects are taught in a fun and engaging way to help children enjoy learning.

Snozone are also the only European indoor snow sports operator who have their own Disability Snow School, supporting their core values of inclusivity and thereby truly offering ‘Sport for All’.
