We’re thrilled to announce the completion of building works at the Wood Green Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC). Since its inception in August 2022, this centre has been a revolutionary addition, bringing essential diagnostic testing closer to the residents of Haringey and North Central London.
A Hub of Accessibility and Revitalization
Strategically situated within our shopping centre, the Wood Green CDC isn’t just about providing diagnostic tests—it’s about revitalizing the high street and addressing the national shortage in diagnostic care. Over 55,000 locals have already benefited from the centre’s services, making healthcare more accessible and convenient.
Expanded Services for Better Care
The journey of expansion continues! The centre has grown from occupying one floor to two, now offering advanced services like MRI and CT testing alongside existing services such as x-ray, ultrasound, and ophthalmology. This expansion signifies a major leap in our mission to provide comprehensive healthcare services.
New Milestones Ahead
We’re excited to share that the Lower Ground Floor is set to start receiving referrals in the new year. This addition is a significant step towards making healthcare even more accessible to our community.
A Collective Achievement
Jonathan Gardner, Chief Strategy Officer at Whittington Health NHS Foundation Trust, expressed his gratitude for the collaborative effort and community support that made this possible. We echo his sentiments and extend our thanks to all the teams involved: Capital & Regional, The Mall Wood Green, Storm Building Limited, NHS North Central London ICB, gbpartnerships, and HFM Architects.
