Laura had a long and successful career with John Lewis Partnership where she served on the Management Board for over ten years, firstly as Registrar and latterly as HR Director.

Laura is also a Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Remuneration Committee at Macfarlane Group PLC, and Non-Executive Director of the British Horseracing Authority. She is a Trustee of The Old Royal Naval College, Greenwich.
