1,000 school children enter The Mall's festive gift card competition
Pupils from 20 UK schools entered the competition to design the limited edition gift cards.
The Mall Fund's portfolio wide childrens' Christmas gift card art competition has attracted over 1,000 entries from school children. Entry to the festive promotion was open to school pupils between the ages of 4 and 11, the only criteria was that drawings followed the theme of 'my favourite thing about Christmas is...'.
The winners will have their drawing printed on the Limited Edition Christmas cards. Not surprisingly, Santa was a popular muse and pictures of St. Nick will appear on the gift cards for The Mall Luton, Wood Green, Camberley and Walthamstow. Other images to feature on the gift cards include a scene of a roaring fire and a cheery snowman.
The Limited Edition Gift Cards will be available throughout Christmas and are on sale from the 18th November. The cards have proven particularly popular as Christmas gifts with shoppers as they give recipients the freedom to buy what they want in a wide range of shops. The gift cards are valid for 12 months and offer shoppers security and peace of mind as the card is not affected by retail administrations and can be used throughout the centres.
