CollectPlus service launched at the Malls

The Malls have launched CollectPlus, a new ‘click and collect’ service allowing customers to collect and return online purchases seven days a week.

Collectplus, the UK’s largest independent store-based delivery and returns service, allows shoppers to collect and return their online shopping from over 260 high streets and online retail brands, including ASOS, Amazon, Very and John Lewis. CollectPlus collections and returns can now be made at the customer Ask Me Point.

The service has been launched following a successful six-month trial at The Mall Camberley, which was the UK's first community shopping centre to launch CollectPlus, in October 2014. The service was an outstanding success, achieving an average rating of 4.75 out of 5 following surveys sent to all CollectPlus customers after they had used the service.

Mark Bourgeois, Executive Director at Capital & Regional, said: CollectPlus has been a huge success at The Mall Camberley, and our Malls are becoming increasingly central to the multi-channel shopping experience.  The rise of online shopping has increased the need for convenient delivery and returns services, which we are pleased to now be offering to our customers.

Neil Ashworth, CEO of CollectPlus, added: “Today’s shoppers need delivery and returns services that fit in with their daily lives. Through this innovative partnership with Capital & Regional we are able to provide even greater choice and convenience to our growing customer base. The future of click and collect lies in aligning collection points to the everyday journeys that customers make and we’re certainly seeing the success of this model in Capital & Regional’s Malls.
