Capital and Regional's Revenue Manager John Cook has been announced as Chairman of the British Property Federation Insolvency Committee. 

John has represented C&R on the Committee since 2012, and succeeds Hammerson Head of Credit Control, Duncan Grubb, as Chairman.

John said: "The Committee has worked successfully over the past few years to ensure fairness and transparency for landlords affected by tenant insolvency, and is now recognised by the Insolvency Service and by professionals within the insolvency regime as a key stakeholder in corporate rescue. It is an honour to Chair such an effective body, one that is regularly consulted by Government and by turnaround practitioners and I look forward to further developing the relationships between the landlord and insolvency communities and to draw upon joint messages whenever possible".
