New Lettings at The Mall Sutton Coldfield

Capital & Regional, Asset Managers of The Mall Fund, are pleased to announce The Mall Sutton Coldfield has secured a string of new retailers including Apple franchise Stormfront, Caffe Nero, The Fragrance Shop, Hotter Shoes and Spanish retailer Party Fiesta.

The Mall Sutton Coldfield will be Party Fiesta's fifth store in the UK. The party goods brand already has 70 branches in Spain and is planning a UK expansion over the next three years with a view to securing 30 sites by 2015.

In addition, The Card Factory is doubling in size, Laura Ashley is renewing its lease for a further 10 years and existing patisserie chain Druckers is rebranding to continental patisserie and bread maker Patisserie Valerie.

Sian Bowen, Retail Asset Manager at Capital & Regional, commented:"The continued retailer interest in The Mall Sutton Coldfield is testament to the centre and its strong catchment.

"The arrival of new brands such as Caffe Nero, which has further strengthened The Mall Sutton Coldfield's leisure and catering offer, has reinforced its position as the dominant retail scheme in the area. This coupled with the upsize of The Card Factory and Laura Ashley's lease renewal, clearly demonstrates the commitment of retailers to the centre and we are looking forward to announcing more new names in the near future."

The Stormfront letting is the first Apple franchise to have been secured for The Mall Fund's portfolio and will see the brand take a 10 year lease for 800 sq ft. Other letting details include:

  • Laura Ashley has taken a 10 year lease for a 3,800 sq ft unit
