Exchange Ilford recently welcomed The Entertainer to their new Family Zone, with the retailer taking a new 3,400sq ft unit on a 10 year lease. 

The opening of children’s toy retailer The Entertainer is a further step in the transformation of the Exchange as a family focussed community centre. Since C&R’s acquisition of the centre the lower level has been dramatically enhanced with the creation of an expansive children’s free play area – the first of it’s kind in Europe – dedicated family parking, and class-leading parent and baby facilities, all in close proximity to a complimentary retail mix.

The introduction of the Playtime facility and a dedicated Family Zone has not only driven a 20% increase in footfall to this part of the centre, it has provided the impetus for us to attract a number of family-focused brands, namely The Entertainer.
