Capital & Regional plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Hales as a Non Executive Director with effect from 1 August 2011.

Tony has been Chairman of Workspace Group plc, the leading provider of space to small and medium-sized enterprises across London since 2002 and steps down from the Board following the AGM in July.  He is currently Chairman of British Waterways, Senior Independent Director of International Personal Finance plc and chairs NAAFI Pension Fund Trustees.

Tony was previously Chief Executive of Allied Domecq plc and a Non Executive Director of HSBC Bank plc.
